Critical Prep is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — you can install it on any device and it works fully offline once installed. No App Store needed.

iPhone & iPad

Use Safari — installation is not available from other browsers on iOS.

  1. Open criticalprep.co.uk in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button — the box with an arrow pointing upward at the bottom of the screen
  3. Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add in the top right

The app icon will appear on your home screen. Open it from there and it runs in full screen, offline.

▶ Android

Use Chrome or any Chromium-based browser.

  1. Open criticalprep.co.uk in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right
  3. Tap Add to Home screen
  4. Tap Add to confirm

Chrome may also show an automatic "Add to Home screen" banner — tap that to skip the menu steps.

◯ Mac — add to Dock

Works in Safari, Chrome, and Edge.

  1. Open criticalprep.co.uk in your browser
  2. Safari: open the File menu → Add to Dock
  3. Chrome / Edge: look for the install icon on the right side of the address bar and click it, or open the menu → Install page as app…
  4. Click Add or Install to confirm
  5. The app appears in your Dock (Safari) or in your Applications folder and Launchpad (Chrome/Edge — drag from Launchpad to pin to Dock)

☐ Windows — desktop shortcut

Use Chrome or Edge.

  1. Open criticalprep.co.uk in Chrome or Edge
  2. Chrome: click the install icon in the address bar, or open the three-dot menu → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app…
  3. Edge: click the + icon in the address bar, or open the three-dot menu → Apps → Install this site as an app
  4. Click Install

A desktop shortcut is created automatically. You can also pin it to the taskbar by right-clicking the shortcut → Pin to taskbar.
